The Role
We are seeking a talented and proactive IT Specialist / Systems Support Technician to join our Lagos team. This hybrid position starts with 3 months fully onsite in our Lagos facility for intensive training, system familiarization, and team integration, then transitions to a flexible hybrid model.
You will play a critical role in maintaining our IT infrastructure, supporting staff across the organization, and ensuring our digital systems (including EHR) run smoothly and securely. We welcome both experienced IT professionals and top-of-their-class recent graduates who demonstrate exceptional potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
- Manage and maintain internal systems including Microsoft 365, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and VPN
- Build, maintain, and update the company website and digital platforms
- Support and manage Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and user accounts
- Monitor system performance, security, and implement data backup & disaster recovery solutions
- Handle domain, email, and hosting management (GoDaddy or similar)
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently
- Collaborate with third-party vendors when needed
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data protection standards
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in healthcare IT

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Minimum Second Class Upper Division – First Class Honours especially encouraged)
Strong IT technical skills with hands-on experience in systems support, networking, and troubleshooting
Highly proficient with Microsoft 365, VPN, website management, and basic web development
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
Unwavering integrity and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
What Sets You Apart (Highly Desired):
Experience in healthcare IT or with EHR systems (e.g., Epic)
CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications
Experience with website development or content management systems
Fresh graduates who graduated at the top of their class are strongly encouraged to apply
