Job Summary
Life Flour Mill Limited is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Lead to oversee workplace health and safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture within its manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs.
Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations.
Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness.
Prepare HSE reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Lead and supervise HSE activities across the facility.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, or a related discipline.
Relevant professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON, OSHA, or an equivalent certification.
Minimum of 5 years’ HSE experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, flour milling, or industrial environment.
Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, safety inspections, and HSE compliance.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an added advantage.
