Job Purpose

As our Store & Inventory Officer, your primary responsibility is to ensure every product in our
showroom is accurately received, stored, accounted for, and made available when needed.

What You Will Actually Do

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
● Receive and inspect all incoming stock to ensure quantities and quality match delivery documents.
● Organise products neatly within the showroom store for easy identification and retrieval.
● Maintain accurate inventory records using the company’s inventory system or stock register.
● Issue products to customers and the sales team accurately.
● Monitor stock levels and promptly report products that are running low.
● Conduct routine stock counts and participate in scheduled inventory audits.
● Investigate and report stock discrepancies or damaged products.
● Ensure the store remains clean, secure and well organised at all times.
● Label products correctly and maintain proper product identification.
● Assist Sales Representatives by locating and preparing products for customers.
● Assist customers purchasing smaller items whenever required.
● Safely move products between the showroom, storage area and customer vehicles when necessary.
● Prepare products for customer collection or delivery.
● Follow company procedures for receiving, storing and issuing inventory.
● Help prevent stock losses through careful handling and proper documentation.
● Support the Operations Manager with inventory reports and stock planning.

Technical Skills
● Inventory and stock management.
● Record-keeping and documentation.

● Inventory software or Microsoft Excel.

● Attention to detail.
● Organisation skills.

Experience

● Previous experience in inventory, stores, warehouse or retail operations is an advantage.
● Experience working with building materials, sanitary ware, furniture or retail products is desirable but not essential.
● Minimum of SSCE, OND or equivalent qualification.
● Candidates with strong organisational skills and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
