Job Summary
A leading e-commerce company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily business operations, optimize supply chain and warehouse processes, and ensure seamless order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency, manage inventory, and improve customer satisfaction while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day e-commerce operations, logistics, and warehouse activities.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control.
- Coordinate order fulfillment, shipping, and last-mile delivery processes.
- Monitor operational performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
- Prepare operational reports, forecasts, and performance analyses using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Collaborate with vendors, courier partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and inventory management tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and customer service expectations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage).
- 3–5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or warehouse management.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Jumia, or Konga is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Inventory/WMS software and ERP systems.
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills for forecasting, reporting, and data analysis.
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce platforms and courier API integrations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
