Job Summary

 

Anchor HMO is seeking a proactive Provider Liaison Officer to manage relationships with healthcare providers, ensure service quality, and support efficient provider network operations. The ideal candidate will maintain strong partnerships with hospitals and clinics, resolve operational issues, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards while promoting excellent client satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers.
  • Conduct regular provider visits to ensure compliance with HMO policies and quality standards.
  • Resolve provider disputes, billing discrepancies, and operational issues promptly.
  • Monitor provider performance and ensure quality healthcare service delivery.
  • Support network expansion and strengthen partnerships with healthcare providers.
  • Handle provider complaints and maintain high levels of client and provider satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with national health insurance regulations and organizational policies.
  • Prepare reports on provider performance, compliance, and operational activities.

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in healthcare, HMO operations, provider management, or a related role.
  • HMO experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of Nigeria’s health insurance schemes and healthcare operations.
  • Excellent relationship management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
