Job Summary
The Vault Recruitment is hiring a Chartered Accountant for a reputable pharmacy to manage financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and company policies
- Conduct financial analysis and recommend cost control measures
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors
- Manage payroll processing and statutory remittances
- Monitor budgets and track financial performance
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Chartered Accountant ICAN or ACCA certified
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience in accounting
- Experience in pharmacy retail or FMCG is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards
- Good understanding of Nigerian tax laws and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
