Job Summary

Dovichi Labs Ltd is recruiting a dedicated Live‑in Nurse and Caregiver to provide compassionate, 24/7 nursing and personal care services for our residents in Lagos. The role balances clinical duties with intimate support, ensuring residents’ physical health, emotional well‑being, and safety are consistently upheld.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily nursing care, including medication administration,  caring and vital‑sign monitoring, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Support residents in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting, while preserving their dignity and independence. You will be looking after a lady in the age of 30.
  • Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans, updating documentation and communicating changes promptly.
  • Observe and report any deviations in health status, promptly alerting physicians and following escalation pathways.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment, ensuring compliance with infection‑control standards.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a therapeutic and reassuring atmosphere for residents.
  • Participate in training workshops and continuing education to stay current on best nursing practices for geriatric or chronic‐condition care.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a National Diploma (ND) in Nursing or a comparable recognition; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of hands‑on nursing experience in a residential or long‑term care setting, with live‑in or 24/7 care exposure if possible.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in clinical assessment, medication management, wound care, and electronic health‐record documentation.
  • Soft Skills: Demonstrated empathy, patience, strong interpersonal communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience caring for residents with dementia, Parkinson’s, or chronic respiratory conditions.
  • Fluency in both English and Nigerian Pidgin or regional languages.
