Job Description

Mindset is actively seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Management Unit in Nigeria. This role is crucial for the coordinated delivery of research consultancy projects, encompassing public health surveys, health facility censuses, and health systems strengthening initiatives, from their inception through to completion.

You will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects, overseeing field operations including household listing and enumeration, and fostering strong collaborations with government counterparts, donors, and esteemed clients such as UNICEF and the Gates Foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead research consultancy projects end to end, on schedule and within budget
  • Coordinate field teams, training, and logistics across senatorial zones and Local Government Areas
  • Develop and maintain workplans, activity trackers, and risk registers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners
  • Monitor budgets and prepare expenditure forecasts
  • Review study tools and deliverables in English and Arabic

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s an advantage)
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible project management experience
  • Experience with public health surveys, censuses, or large scale household surveys
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Willingness to travel to project locations, including at short notice
