Job Description
One Acre Fund is seeking a Recruitment Intern to support its mission of empowering smallholder farmers through effective talent acquisition.
This full-time internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in recruitment processes within a mission-driven organization. You will assist in identifying, attracting, and onboarding qualified candidates who are passionate about contributing to the work done at One Acre Fund for smallholder farmers.
Key responsibilities include supporting the recruitment lifecycle, utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and assisting with data analysis to identify recruitment trends. You will work closely with the HR team, developing your skills in candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination.
The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor’s degree, foundational recruitment or HR experience, and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field. Proficiency in English and excellent collaboration skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process for various roles.
- Support the use of Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse) for candidate management.
- Conduct basic data analysis related to recruitment efforts.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and the HR team to understand staffing needs.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communication.
- Contribute to improving recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate and organized recruitment records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field of study.
- 6 months to 1 year of recruitment or HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about the work done at One Acre Fund for Smallholder Farmers.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse) is a plus.
- Basic data analysis skills, with the ability to identify patterns.
- Great learning skills, curiosity, and strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is required.
