Job Description
- We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor with strong 2D animation experience to join our creative team.
- You’ll be responsible for producing polished, engaging video content from editing raw footage into compelling narratives to bringing motion graphics and animated elements to life.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into finished videos for social media, web, and marketing campaigns
- Create 2D animations, motion graphics, and animated explainer content
- Add sound design, music, color grading, and visual effects to enhance final output
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and design teams to align videos with brand and messaging goals
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Stay current with editing trends, animation styles, and platform-specific video formats (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.)
- Organize and maintain a structured asset/project library.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio / showreel
- Demonstrated 2D animation skills (character animation, kinetic typography, motion graphics)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (Illustrator a plus)
- Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual rhythm
- Familiarity with sound design and basic color correction
- Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with 2D rigging tools (e.g., Duik, Character Animator)
- Basic graphic design or illustration skills
- Experience creating content for social-first platforms
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools/workflows.
