Job summary
The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the organisation, providing excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and staff. This role manages front-desk operations, handles inquiries, coordinates communication, and supports general administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

Front Desk Management:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a warm, professional manner.
  • ⁠Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area.
  • ⁠Manage visitor check-in/check-out and maintain visitor logs.

Communication & Customer Service:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and courteously.
  • ⁠Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
  • ⁠Provide accurate information about the company’s services or connect visitors to the appropriate staff.

Administrative Support:

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
  • ⁠Manage outgoing mail and coordinate with courier services.
  • ⁠Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings.
  • ⁠Assist with filing, data entry, document preparation, and other clerical tasks.

Requirements

A minimum of a BSc in a related field.
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ⁠Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • ⁠Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • ⁠Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • ⁠Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
